M&A Healthcare Advisors is exclusively representing a Medicaid and Medicare certified, Home Health agency located in Connecticut. The company has been in business nearly 20 years and provides a variety of services including Skilled Nursing, assistance with ADLs, Physical, Occupational, & Speech Therapy, Medication Management, Adult Family Living (Foster Care), and Behavioral Health.
They currently have a census of over 400 patients and their payor mix consists of 85% Medicaid, 7% Medicare, and the remaining 8% is generated from the VA, Commercial Insurance, and Private Pay. Revenue and EBITDA margins have been consistent over the last 4 years. In 2022, annual gross revenues were approximately $6 million with an adjusted EBITDA of $1.4 million (23%). In 2023, the company is expected to generate over $6 million in revenue with an adjusted EBITDA of approximately $1.35 million (22.5%). There is a full complement of staff able to support the company post-acquisition. Our client would prefer a short to modest transition after the sale occurs but is willing to maintain a longer-term arrangement, if required.
